"...so bad, they're actually bad!"

Can it be true? Are the Mutants of the Holocaust really that bad? Well judge for yourselves fellow music lovers. This page gives a brief snapshot of a short period in the bands lifespan. More will be written when I get round to it.
In the meantime, feel free to download these tracks recorded in the bass players bedroom sometime in '85 if memory serves correctly.

We ran through the songs once and then recorded them straight onto a cheap compact cassette recorder.

Train is not one of ours - not actually sure who wrote it, although everyone has covered it, but this is based on a cross between the Shockabilly and Motorhead versions. Mushroomhead, on the other hand is one of ours. This is really just a series of observations and comments about, and inspired by, a certain strain of fungus. End of the World is also one of ours. Originally it was at least three times as long as what you hear on this record but for some reason or another, the tape got cut and the rest has been lost to history. Shame really. Loose is, of course, the Stooges song, although again, our version is based on the one that the Birthday Party recorded. We finish off with a tune that changed every time we played it. Whoever was singing at the time invented some new words; only the opening line stayed the same.

What happened to side two, you ask?

Well quite honestly, that’s it! That’s all we have.

Annonymous Bloke

Special thanks to the bloke who bought a copy of the record from me whilst I was in Crash Records. Hope you're not too disapointed!

Record Shops

Great news for the discerning record buyers amongst you. The album is now available from Jumbo Records and Crash records in Leeds. Both fine establishments which I would encourage anyone to visit whilst in the fine region of the world that is Yorkshire. Both shops have top notch mail order services too, so check those out if you don't live in the area (and looking at the stats of people that have visited here that's about 99%). I will post links to their sites soon.

En el primer caso te sugiero que echa un vistazo a la buena gente de la disquera Detour (enlace ver) que las acciones de una gran cantidad de cosas interesantes. Vinyl OUT NOW!!!

Well folks, it's finally arrived! What could have been a moment in time, forgotten forever (and probably should have)is now available to those of you who still have turntables. As I said earlier, this is a one-sided album that contains all the tracks in the Rapidshare links plus a bit of radio talk at the begining. I would urge you all to buy a copy. Needless to say it will become a collectors item very soon and trade hands for mega$$$. So get your now for a bargain price. In the first instance I suggest you check out the good folks at Detour Records (see link)who stock a whole bunch of cool stuff. Alternatively, I'll put a feww up on Ebay if it's easier for people.

All tracks now in 1 folder

Ok, so I decided to put all the tracks in one, easy to download RAR folder. Should have done this to begin with I guess, but I thought it would be easy for people without premium accounts to get one track quickly. Anyway, you've got the choice now. Please leave a comment, positive or negative but preferably not mediocre!
