Well it's been a little while since I've had anything to say on the subject but the good folks at InterPunk in the US of A are now stocking our wonderful record so that should make it a little cheaper if you live on that side of the pond (obviously not as cheap as the free download - but also not as collectable!)

Album Review

Some dude just turned up at the office with these one-sided garage rock LPs the other day. Apparently he played in this band in the '80s and dug out the recordings recently and decided it was time for them to come out on vinyl. What we've got here is a solitary side of muddy and messy garage rock. It sounds quite bad, but I suppose that's the point here isn't it. We've got repetitive riffs, snotty vocals, and all-over-the-place guitar with an almost constant phaser effect over the top, all recorded in true no-fi fashion on a cheap tape player in someone's house. If you're into dirgey and obscure garage punk, I can confirm that this is definitely a dirgey and obscure garage punk record.
So, is this the dog's bollocks...or the cat's arse? Speak your brains here.

The fine establishments in question are 101 Collectors Records (Farnham), Reflex (Newcastle)and Raves from the Grave (Frome). If you're in the neighbourhoods pay them a visit - they clearly have good taste.

New Track To Download

OK, so it's been a while since I promised some even lower fidelity recordings, so here's one. Recorded at the Hadon Hall in Leeds sometime in '85 it's a shortened version of an extremely overindulgent 9 minute version including completely out of tune instruments, effects pedals tuned to max (and then some)and The Boss making the tempo of the song twice what we'd agreed beforehand. If only we'd practised!

I'm in the process of converting some old tapes and will have the, erm, efforts (minimum!) uploaded as soon as I get round to it. Hey, if we've waited 30 years another few weeks won't make much difference.

Great news for the discerning record buyers amongst you. The album is now available from Jumbo Records and Crash records in Leeds. Both fine establishments which I would encourage anyone to visit whilst in the fine region of the world that is Yorkshire. Both shops have top notch mail order services too, so check those out if you don't live in the area (and looking at the stats of people that have visited here that's about 99%). Bueno amigos, por fin ha llegado! ¿Qué podría haber sido un momento en el tiempo, olvidado para siempre (y probablemente debería tener) está ahora disponible para aquellos de ustedes que todavía tienen platos. Como he dicho antes, este es un álbum de un solo lado que contiene todas las pistas en los enlaces de Rapidshare con un poco de charla de radio al principio. Insto a todos a comprar un ejemplar. Huelga decir que se convertirá en un artículo de los colectores y las manos muy pronto el comercio de mega $ $ $. Así que tu ahora por un precio de ganga. En el primer caso te sugiero que echa un vistazo a la buena gente de la disquera Detour (enlace ver) que las acciones de una gran cantidad de cosas interesantes. Por otra parte, voy a poner un feww arriba en Ebay si es más fácil para la gente.

Well folks, it's finally arrived! What could have been a moment in time, forgotten forever (and probably should have)is now available to those of you who still have turntables. As I said earlier, this is a one-sided album that contains all the tracks in the Rapidshare links plus a bit of radio talk at the begining. I would urge you all to buy a copy. Needless to say it will become a collectors item very soon and trade hands for mega$$$. So get your now for a bargain price. In the first instance I suggest you check out the good folks at Detour Records (see link)who stock a whole bunch of cool stuff. Alternatively, I'll put a feww up on Ebay if it's easier for people.

Well, music lovers, it's been a long time coming, but the tracks are finally in the process of being converted to vinyl. Because we don't have enough songs to make a whole album, we're making half an album! Meaning five tracks on one side and nothing on the other. This will be a ltd. edition of 500, on very collectable black vinyl. Just have to figure out how to distribute them then.
